RollTech Announces Wearable Development Kit to Facilitate Application Development on Mediatek MT2523

RollTech Technology Co., Ltd., a global provider in deploying embedded software technologies and value-add services for mobile and smart devices, announced today that a wearable software development kit designed for MediaTek wearable and IoT chipset, called MT2523, is available this June.
Announced at CES 2016, MediaTek’s MT2523 is the world’s first SoC that combines a high-resolution mobile screen, dual-mode Bluetooth and GPS, with industry-leading power efficiency. The product family (MT2523D/MT2523G) is based around a highly integrated system in package (SiP) that contains an ARM Cortex‐M4 with floating point MCU, integrated with 4MB PSRAM and 4MB flash memory. MT2523 also supports interfaces such as UART, I2C, SPI, I2S, PWM, SDIO, MSDC, USB, PCMIF, ADC and dual digital MIC. It’s a perfect platform for next-generation smart wearable and IoT products, including kid watch, sport watch, healthcare watch, etc.
To facilitate application development, RollTech co-works with MediaTek on MT2523 and delivers a tailored-made development kit. The key features of development kit include,

Sample codes with watch faces, multiple theme, locale, location-base real time weather, clock alarm, calendar, notification view, and remote camera shooting developed upon the development kit are available for OEM, ODM and 3rd party developers.
